Yeah I'm getting a lot of juddering watching other players. I get it playing or when i'm spectating them and it looks like they're got bad warp/lag but i check pings and both are normal. I also checked for fps spike but there was none and everything else looks a bit smoother now.
Also I can't recreate my old buyscript within CPL Gui (numpad doesnt work properly :() so I'm busy making a new one. :)

that's fine... as long as it's just a buy script and nothing extra special.
The CPL GUI is there as a guide to the allowed commands / actions. It might not be compatible with everyones machines. Don't forget the CPL use all the same machines / monitors and hardware, so they tailor it for their needs.

the gui sets interp do a interp set for lan, as cpl is lan etc and the gui is made for lan..
there is autoexec.cfg or userconfig.cfg that has the interp in. just delete it out of there and all should be fixed.
with the gui i can use numberpad to set buy stuff, just gotta make sure numlock is on before hand otherwise, it will overright your arrow keys etc etc

Alright thanks Shimmy! I actually uninstalled CPL Gui already but thanks anyway. :p Using default config with some hud and bind changes.
Also thanks for the numlock thingy, means I can use my current buyscript. :D

Another thing I have been looking at using just to nip all this "can i use <insert completey obscure variable/model here>" in the bud, is soundcheck.
Information about what soundcheck is and what it does can be found here
Hopefully this should make everyone on an even more level playing field.
I have never used soundcheck on LAN before so moongames reserve the right to remove this facility from the servers should the need arise.

watch out because soundcheck doesnt like cz models, as i know a lot of people that use them. you can only use 1.6 original models which can be found at: http://ukcsl.taa-gaming.com/downloads/models/cs_1.6_models.z ip

But looking at it... We might have to say "no" to HLTV models.
As the checksum of the HLTV models will not be the same.

Can i add, if sound check is used. Can you please use WWCL to enforce "cl_minmodels 1" this will ensure everyone sees the same thing?

An Excellent idea...!!!
Done..
I am just finalising the "Official Tournament Rules" now, I hope we have included everything, hopefully covering every possible bloody CS loop-hole, get-out of playing fairly clause.
Hopefully be up soon (weekend at the latest)
